Great food, not so great white wine. Not sure what it was about the two white wines our party ordered but they weren't good. We exchanged one for a red that was better. As for the food, the pot stickers and basil chili lamb were very good, but the tea leaf salad and egg and okra curry were really fantastic. Don't skip those!
The food and the service was great! I've hear about this place from friends and decided to come and try it with my family. I ordered the tea leaf salad, nan gyi dok, and the basil beef. The food was very flavorful and overall I would say the nan gyi dok was my favorite.
The food tasted so good. Our table thought the Fiery Beef Tofu was the best dish we ordered. The balance of the spice, vegetables and tofu was a perfect combination.
So what made the experience for me is the waiter. He was super friendly and very great at giving us advice on which dish is great to choose. Although i know what is good i usually ask to see if the staff is knowledgable of the menu. We ordered the food and of course it was delicious! We sat outside on a nice warm day and it was a great to sit there and chat. Great place for a date and to catch up with friends.
Went for a Monday night dinner while visiting the city. Was not disappointed at all. The place was not busy for dinner (great for us !). The tables were all well arranged and the entire restaurant was very well kept with clean, cozy and somewhat colonial dining setup. The food was very flavorful and well balanced (not too oily or unnecessarily smothered with chili just to make it spicy). We ordered the tea salad (very unique, our first time experience), beef curry (Thai basil) - very tasty!, garlic noodles, samosa and semolina cake with mango ice cream (delicious!). Server can be a little more prescriptive though
